The Developmental Services Worker:
An evolving profession and growing need in care.
June 23rd | 12:30pm EST
Supportive services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is changing. Enhanced demands, evolving cultural attitudes, a wider range of needs and our growing understanding of diagnoses, abilities and challenges require that we think ambitiously about self-determination, models of service, and frameworks for impact.
At the centre of all of this are the clients and the workers. On June 23rd, join us alongside three prominent voices from Atlantic Canada, to discuss how the nature of the DSW profession is changing and its effect on organizations, families, governments, workers and clients.
